If yes, you may wish to apply for renewal of NBI Clearance online through this link -

If you do not have an NBI Clearance or have been issued an NBI Clearance before 2014, you may apply for an NBI clearance by following the steps below:
Please note that the Consulate only takes fingerprint impressions and certifies these on the NBI clearance application form. The Consulate does not issue the NBI Clearance. For the clearance application form to be processed by the National Bureau of Investigation, it must be sent by the applicant to the Philippines.
Requirements for Finger-Print Capturing
- Personal Appearance;
- Two (2) (2 x 2) colored photos with white background taken within the last three months;
- Original passport and two (2) copies of the data page of his/her valid passport;
- If available, bring previously issued NBI Clearance/s;
- Return mail (preferably Letter Pack 510);
- Properly filled NBI Clearance form (available at the Consulate and during Consular Outreach)
Appointment at the Consulate
No appointment is needed when you apply at the Consulate but kindly observe the following walk-in schedule as follows:
- Mondays to Thursdays -12:30 pm to 4:00 pm
- Fridays - 9:30 am - 1:00 pm

Processing Time

For Express, with an additional payment of 1,500 yen you can get your document within the day subject to the availability of the signing Officer.
For Regular processing, you can get your documents within five (5) to seven (7) working days from the date of application provided that all documents submitted are complete and authentic. The document will be delivered via JP Post.

Declaration of Philippine Citizenship Requirements
- Personal appearance of the applicant/affiant;
- Valid Philippine passport (original and two (2) copies of the data page);
- Two (2) duly accomplished and unsigned declaration forms;
- PSA-issued Certificate of Live Birth (original and two (2) copies); and
- Declaration of Philippine Citizenship form.
