The Philippine Embassy in Tokyo, together with the Philippine Consulates General in Osaka and Nagoya, wishes to inform the public that starting January 2021, those wishing to file their Civil Registry Applications (i.e. Report of Birth, Report of Marriage, or Report of Death), will have to do so in the proper Philippine Consular Office as follow:

For births, marriages, or deaths that have occurred or will occur in the following Prefectures, please file your appropriate Civil Registry Application at the Philippine Embassy in Tokyo:

Please be reminded that an appointment first needs to be secured prior to submitting your application. No appointment, no entry.

By following appointment procedures and by filing your Civil Registry Application in the appropriate Philippine Consular Office above, you will effectively ensure the safe, smooth and efficient rendering of services by the above offices to the public.

Please note that permanent civil registration records filed in the Philippine Embassy in Tokyo or the Philippine Consulate General in Osaka on or before 31 December 2020 shall remain at these Posts and this new distribution of areas of jurisdiction shall apply from 01 January 2021 onwards.
