The Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (IACAT) published the 2023 Revised Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking Guidelines on Departure Formalities for International-Bound Filipino Passengers last 18 August 2023 in a newspaper of general circulation.
The guidelines provide the list of supporting documents that may be asked by an Immigration Officer from an international-bound Filipino passenger, depending on their declared purpose of travel.
The Revised Guidelines will take effect on 3 September 2023

Please note that as per the guidelines Sponsored Travel may require an Affidavit of Support & Guarantee (AOSG) for relatives up to a fourth (4th) civil degree of consanguinity or affinity
and for non-relatives or a legal/judicial entity.
Travel is sponsored if any part of it is funded by a person other than the passenger such as airfare, hotel bookings/accommodation, and daily expenses.

The Affidavit of Support & Guarantee forms may be downloaded here.
Effective 01 September 2023 and in line with the revised IACAT Guidelines additional supporting documents will be required to be attached to the AOSG forms.
